This program carries out cluster analysis, which is a way of comparing samples based on numerical data. It was developed for comparison of samples based on individual non-opaque heavy mineral percentages. This program would be useful for any numerical data so long as comparing values of the variables is meaningful (i.e., not for comparing apples and oranges). Calculations are carried out using a data file that is created in Filer2023, a companion program.
